Minimalistic Vacation Rental Website — Designing a Calm & Elegant Booking Experience

RNTLS Marbella is a premium luxury villa rental platform designed to showcase exclusive properties across Marbella’s most prestigious locations. The project combines refined UI/UX design with a powerful custom-built infrastructure that automates real-time property management, pricing, and booking synchronization through the Guesty API.

The objective was to create a sophisticated digital experience that reflects the luxury travel market while delivering seamless booking functionality, scalable architecture, and operational automation for the client.

The website was designed to position RNTLS Marbella as a trustworthy high-end rental brand, combining elegant aesthetics with enterprise-level functionality. Every aspect of the platform was built with scalability, performance, and user experience in mind — preparing the system for expansion into destinations such as Ibiza and Mallorca.

Development & System Architecture

The project included a fully custom WordPress build using a tailored UI approach and optimized property listing structure. Performance optimization was implemented throughout the platform, including critical CSS handling, lazy loading, caching strategies, and Core Web Vitals optimization.

A major component of the project was the development of a fully custom Guesty → WordPress API synchronization plugin. This system automates real-time syncing of:

The plugin includes advanced functionality such as:
• Cursor-based pagination for large property portfolios
• Retry logic and API error handling
• Automated cleanup of removed listings

Booking & Payment Experience

The booking system was custom-built to provide a seamless luxury reservation experience. Features include:

UI/UX & Brand Direction

The visual direction focused on creating a modern luxury experience aligned with high-end travel expectations. The interface combines elegant typography, immersive property imagery, and a simplified booking journey optimized for both desktop and mobile users.
